What Fork Oil to use?

Clymer and KZ Manual call for SAE 5W20. Will this be ok or should I use actual fork oil? any input will help

I highly recommend Bel Ray fork oil! I've been using it for 38 years in my KZ650 and I have never had any leakage of other issues with my forks. I change the fork oil every 2 years. I use 15w, but it comes in many different weights from 2.5w to 30w (see link below) and they can be mixed to fine tune the suspension to your liking. Ed

I used car oil once in my forks for multiple reasons and it was a mistake. Stick with fork oil, 15W is what works best in mine.
