I'm rebuilding stradas. I intend to pour Motul 5W oil in them. What do you think about that?

Shock oil? I'm not familiar with those shocks but found this rebuild manual using google... www.iloc.co.uk/gallery/albums/.../Marzoc...ar_Shocks_Manual.pdf

Thank you, but they don't speak much about oils. I'll try with Motul 5W.

I think it comes down to which weight oil the shocks are designed for and what your goal is. As with forks, lighter weight oil will give a faster reaction time with less damping. Heavier will do the opposite. Either will be better than worn out oil. Without knowing what was in them to start with, there is no way to know if 5W will provide what you want without giving it a try.

Thank you both but I'm looking for someone who have actally rebuild strada shocks. Not < HE IS GOING TO> OR < may BE HEAVIER>. New Marzocchis work very well but I guess no one knows what oil is in them. I found somewhere on net <Put in Marzocchi original oil> WTF We all know that Marzocchi don't produce oils.
Texas KZ I think trying isn't right thing. Because shocks and springs are newly painted and you can't change oil without disassembly. Every change of oil Will make damage to spring or body.
