V-Star front end swap? Into an 82 GPZ / KZ
02 Jan 2015 01:56
Anybody done this? I know the sportbike forks are farily easy to swap into anything now with the All Balls bearings, and they sell some to swap the vstar front end into my 82 GPZ, but has anyone done this? I really like the clean, fat, and wide look of the Yamaha cruisers' forks (with covers) and trees from as early as '98ish. Since the GPZ tank is enormous, I'm trying to visibly hide it's size by making EVERYTHING BIG! And clean. It'll be a bit Exile, I suppose...
Helpful hints?
I'm mainly concerned about turning radius and neck tube length differences.
