Police Rear Master ???
31 Dec 2014 08:21
Do you guys think that a KZ1000P Police Rear master Cylinder will work with my 77' KZ1000A?
No rebuild kit for my stock rear master ( works but still weeps fluid ) on my 77' and the Police one looks like the 2 mounting points are spaced the same. I know the brake pushrod length and brake fluid reservoir are issues that need to be addressed but at least their's a rebuild kit for them.
Any opinions or suggestions would be certainly appreciated !!!

Finding a master with a bore free of pitting can be a challenge. The pushrods may vary in length but that doesn't matter since you can swap in the parts from your old master. I think the main thing is to find a master body that has the same hole spacing. Worse come to worse there are companies that will bore your old master and press in a liner.
