$650.00 on cost? Whew, I wish I still had my original Cal Fab swing arm that I had back in the 80's. I paid a fraction of the cost back then. It looked great on my 1980 LTD-1000. Do not remember the tire size I chose but I do know it was a wide 16 inch, 180, maybe larger. I do know that wherever I took my bike, guys chased me down with questions. Wish I still has that bike.

The high cost is due to these bikes not being real popular anymore ( I mean popular like 100,000+ on the road not the niche market of loyal followers that there is) and being only able to run a short production run instead of cranking out a large amount in a short time.

Look up the alloy arms somebody makes for the H2 750; the pricing is inline with the cal fab. A custom steel arm is typically $400+, aluminum is harder to fab correctly, and takes a bit more material. Not to mention the cost of the brand name/liscense
my bikes; 80kz1000(project), 77 gl1000, 74 h2 (project)
Past; 78 kz1000, 83 kz550

Those are really nice! They don't have any others listed right now. Looks identical to the V&H I bought in the early 90's. By the way, the listing shows a wide range of bikes in the title.....will they fit the old KZ's and the newer "J" models? I didn't think the newer arms fit on the older frames?
The Kaw List:
Current: 79 KZ1000 A3 MKII, 78 KZ1000 A2, 78 KZ1000 Z1-R, 78 KZ650 SR, 80 KE175
Former: 03 KLX400SR, 99 ZRX1000, 82 KZ750 LTD, 80 KZ1000 A4 MKII, 80 KZ1000 LTD, 78 KZ1000 A2, 74 H-2 750 Triple, 78 KL250
