Removing both wheels?
13 Jul 2014 09:05
I have the rear wheel and spring arm off, its on its center stand and I have a bottle Jack, but for the life of me I cannot find a stable way to lift the front end so I can remove the front wheel and forks... the bottle Jack, even with a piece of wood is causing the whole thing to lift off and I cannot, at least how I'm looking at it, move it any further forward. I even tried tying the rear to a tie down with weight on the floor and ratcheting it down to no avail... am I really stuck having to buy a lift or is there another way? Its a kz750 h3.

If you have the exhaust off 3 heavy duty milk crates make a good work stand.
Put 2 side by side and the other directly behind them centered up,put some towels or a throw rug on top of them to protect the frame..

Still recovering, some days are better than others.

If I am reading you correctly you are trying to remove the front wheel while the rear is also off?.....If so DON"T DO IT....not on just the center stand.....the whole lot risks coming crashing down and trying to lift that dead weight ......never mind!!! Do only one end at a time. The front being the most difficult, I really like lou's solution in the previous post, I may have to build one of those
