Anyone? I want to use the LTD tank on my bike. Looking at the pics of the frames it looks like it may fit.

I doubt it's been done very often, going with a peanut tank on a GPz. :)

Assuming you mean the 750-4. From the diagrams at Kawasaki.com, the Ltd tank attaches differently at the rear, but a little finagling might make it work. The shape at the front of the tanks may be a consideration for clearance at the steering head. As you already know, the front mounts appear to be very similar.

The 650-CSR frame & tanks are virtually identical to the 750H: 650-CSR tank measurements:
Between Fr mounts = 4-7/8" & center-to-center = 5-1/2"
Depth of tank at mounts = 4-3/8" (measured by placing a ratchet extension into the mounts)
Length from front of tank to Rr mount = 20-1/2"
Length from Fr mount to Rr mount = 18-3/8"

Thanks Martin. I like the more rounded tank of the KZ/Z 750. I had a ZN 700 before and the previous owner must of changed the tank because they had beaten and filled the front of the tank so the forks didn't hit it. I didn't really work. Is the LTD tank different from the KZ/Z ? I just prefer the more rounded look tank as its a lot more classic looking than the square GPZ 750 R1 i have. I like the bike in the pic a wanted mine to be more like that by changing clocks, light tank etc

The Ltd tank is smaller than the Standard & GPz models.
The bike in the photo is a KZ750-E Standard. The E tank is ~4.2 gals & mounts the same as the KZ750-H Ltd (& 650-CSR) --- the Ltd/CSR tanks are only ~3.2 gals.

Just an FYI, the KZ750-H Ltd models are KZs. The Ltd indicates the styling, but those are still KZs.

PS: I'd take a GPz tank over the other ones any day. :)
