HWY Pegs was created by 9er rider
What would be nice, would be to have a set of hwy pegs to make a long ride a little more comfortable. Ive thought of trimount case savers and extra peg bracket But it don't hurt to ask around Does anyone have any pics?

I would think twice before doing that............only my personal opinion but I have never thought that putting highway pegs on a bike works as it puts all your weight on your tusch and back instead of transferring most of it to your legs which are the strongest parts of your anatomy. As I say........ only a personal opinion based on enough miles to form it. :)

+1...I like to keep my feet under me, close to controls, -vs- having my feet precede me down the road....(They make special bikes for that, don't they?) LOL!

i have highway pegs on my z1r and i find that they make for a nice "change of leg positioning"
when on long trips.
especially if your legs have a tendency to cramp up or back issues.
it just gives you another option rather than being "locked"into one position.
if you look closely you can see mine in this pic.

i took some old passenger pegs and brackets of unknown origin,
cut the bolts off and welded them to a piece of 1"o.d. tubing then just stuck it through my frame under the header.i wrapped some cut up inner tube around the two tubes and used hose clamps to secure them.sounds like crap i know .but it is hidden pretty well and very secure.i have gone through a pretty gnarly wreck where i high sided and the bike slide across a median and down the road. the highway peg bar saved my engine from some worse damage, just got a scuffed up (but savable)points cover.(plus other assorted body and handle bar switch damage etc.)
her you can see how it sticks out .

they aren't really in the optimum location but they sure do make for a nice change on long trips in between gas stops.plus when i use them my long legged wife can use my pegs to stretch herself out a lil.

it's a win win for me.
