78' LTD 1000 Extended Swingarm

I figure I'd bring this topic back to life since most of the forum's I read are a few years old. What is the best current option for an extended swingarm for my KZ. I am on a budget so the high price internet options are not gonna fly. Any input would be awesome. Thanks Fellas!

Why would you want to chop up such a beautiful machine?

I rode with a buddy today. This is his '78.

Bone stock except for exhaust.

They don't get much cooler.

I think the best is a stock one with a couple of inches added. If it is a nice stocker I just leave them alone. The only extended arm I had was on a bike I built to look like a drag bike. Stretched and lowered.

This is mine with a 6" over I bought off a member for $200.
1980 kz1000g 1105 34mm Mikuni flat slides Kerker exhaust custom paint stock ignition(Dyna 2000 soon) Accel coils and wires stock cams w/ heavy springs for more rpm. My 2nd 1000.

If I right an '82-'83 GS750 alum. arm is almost a bolt in with a few
washer's as spacer's and add's about 3 inch's.
This is an '83 GPZ750 arm on my KZ650 I added 5 1/2" to for a total of 8" over stock W/B.

Zukiworks racing ported head.
VM 29 smooth bore's.
Dyna 2000 Ign. w/Dyna mini coil's
APE cylinder stud's and nut's.
APE valve spring's.
APE Track King clutch.
V/H KZ1000 sidewinder.
3.5x18 laced to a KZ1000 disk hub.
150/60/18 Shinko 006 Podium.
63" wheel base.
