Suzuki speedo drive cable fit Kawasaki speedometer

Does anyone know if the speedometer cable from a 1995 Suzuki GSXR750 will work with a older Kawasaki speedometer? (The ends look the same.)
I have a 74 Z1 with 1995 GSXR750 suspension and like to use a Kawasaki dash and gauges on it if I can.

I'm trying to do something like this.

I tried and I don't remember much about the cable ends but remember the Gsxr cable length to be too short. The Gsxr gauges are mounted lower than the Kz's (at least close to stock position).

Just had a thought: a first gen Bandit 12 maybe close to the correct length. Might have to do some research.

I know the Suzuki cable is short, but I can mount my dash lower.
Can you give me and more info on the Bandit cable?
