Do I have to swap front forks to add second disk brake to kz900 a-4. Looks like all the ones that have dual have the caliper behind the forks instead of in front like mine has now with single disk. Thanks for any help.

Well does your other fork tube have the bosses to mount the caliper?

On a kz1000, you can mount the caliper on top like yours or behind the fork by changing forks from one side to the other.

I have a LTD dual setup on mine.

Ok I'm game but how do you bolt the front fender back on. Am I missing something?

that's why you move the right complete fork to left side and left to right. the bosses move but you still have fender mounts in the right orientation.

NO your not loosing it, I corrected my post from turning fork tube to swapping entire fork.......sorry......

Now that I have the install sorted out with the forks does anyone have any pictures of how the brackets that mount to the front fender bolts for the caliper lines and speedo cable should be placed. Also do I need a longer speedo cable or do I reroute it. It was running behind the left fork but now the caliper is in the way and so it is not long enough.
