Progressive 12-1201 12-1/2" shocks

I tried this setup (vs. the spec 13-1/2" shock length) on my KZ1100A-2, and found it preferable to the air-ride rear shocks.
The bike sits comfortably lower. The ride feels great, and steering seems easier and more controllable...even here in pot-hole hell.

Hope yours last longer than my Progressives did. One lost all the oil just out of Warranty, about 4K miles. Non rebuild-able. Went to a set of FOX shocks instead. :)

Did you change the shock-length as well?
I bought this set (used) off ebay, basically as an experiment. I liked them so-well, I bought a new set...and will likely sell these (less springs and chrome covers). No leaks so-far...
