Now I have buried myself in a pile of shit for sure.
Kinda need my bike up and running asap.

But figured hey why not rebuild my Stradas?
Wheel tore of the shocks and got them apart and i cleaned them thoroughly everything that was possible to dismantle vas dismantled,
I used a rebuild kit from this website www.marzocchimoto.blogspot.se/p/ag-strada-kit-buy-it-now.html

But it simply won't work.
I have them finished but I can compress the shock real easy not much dampening happening there.
It is only when I pull I feel some force (feels about right)
I know it is stated in the instructions that it is the foot valve I need to clean.
The thing is that it IS clean without a shadow of a doubt.

So what should I do now?
Replace the shocks?
Or what could I do?

It is supposed to be equal dampening in both pull and push?
At least when I work on car shocks anyway.

Please help shed some light on this matter.

Best Regards Hemmek.

Not nitrogen but compressed air.
So that part is covered.

On old conventional shocks, most, if not all, dampening is on the return stroke.

There is a valve for it so it should work both ways.
Anyway it dosen't matter anymore.
Started working on shock nr2 today.
It is beyond repair.
The rod is badly scarred (liks like some idiot have out it in a vice)
and the cylinder has a layer of rust on the inside.
Neither is parts i can get hold of.
Have put them back togheter so i can use the bike with leaking shocks for now.
