I have an 1980 kz440 that has a terrible whine in the speedometer. It started a while back then the needle wouldn't read anymore and snapped because all it did was bounce around. I bought a new speedometer, lubed the cable very well and it still whines but reads. I don't want it to happen again. Any help?
