Hi zakkant, I am extremely happy with the cartridge emulators. They are night and day over the old set-up. I have a post over in the ''vintage info'' section of the kawasaki.org forum with plenty of photos, that explains exactly how I installed mine. Just search ''cartridge emulators'' over there and I'm sure you'll find it.
I haven't had the time or money to replace my stock rear shocks yet so I have nothing to offer on that front.
