I was wondering if anyone has bolted an 18 inch Z1R rear wheel on a 78 LTD with a 16 inch rear wheel. Was wondering if the existing brakes would bolt on it Ok. I don't really care for the LTD look and want to convert this over to a std look. Thanks for any help. I just picked this bike up and I already have all the rest of the parts to do this.

I think you'll have to carry over the brake disk from the 16" wheel, as I believe the disks from the 16" and 18" wheels have different offsets. So the LTD disk and caliper need to go together. Otherwise it seems like it should work fine, but I've never tried it.
