Kz 750 ltd shaft - forks was created by Troyn
Hello all. Looking for some forks and confused about model designations, part numbers etc. (not just for the forks!).

Does anyone know the difference between "k351" forks and "k309"??

Mine is an 83. Thanks!

It's doubtful that anyone is going to know what those fork numbers mean.
Kawasaki.com & Parzilla are a couple of handy places for comparing stuff. Click the part number for the cross-reference.

Your F1 Ltd-Shaft is most similar to the 750 Spectres which are also shaft drive bikes - they have a gold/black color scheme instead of silver/chrome. The forks on your bike are the leading axle type, typically found on many Ltd models - the axle is kinda forward of the fork legs. If you can't find forks specific to the F1, you might be able to use the forks from a 750H-Ltd (chain drive). From the diagrams they appear to be very similar, except they don't have the headlight ear fork covers nor do they have the cross-over air valve assy. But I really don't know if there will be any fitment problems. The upper tubes should be the same diameter, but strangely to me the cross-reference seems to indicate that they don't use the same fork seals.

Hello, Troyn, and WELCOME to KZr! :cheer:

There's lots of good info on kawasaki.com, including parts diagrams, part names, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc. Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.
