Leon,
They do in the video. It looks like two fork-like tabs that you would slide underneath the two side head light bolts. I'm thinking about buying one and trying it after I get the front end back on with my handelbars to see if it'll fit.

No it is really hideous. And at 44 bucks it may even be a lower quality viper fairing. Cheap fiberglass will bite you back 10 fold in sweat labor and frustration.

I have the replica already on its way to me now. :-)

Mounts are really easy to fiberglass in yourself for custom work.

Hollywood, did you buy the one from Web Bikes in Japan? Or did you get the Airtech version? The Airtech version looks nice. They've always use good quality glass components

Hey Leon, take a look.

I got one that's prepared for a bike 5 years ago but was never used. I'm waiting for it to arrive.

the viper and the $44 dollar fairing are injection molded ABS. thats why they are so cheap. fiberglass must be layed up by hand.

Yup, they're the same item. Both made with ABS. Prolly flex like crazy and looks like something that belongs on a ,... well, a Chy Knee knock-off. lol
Airtech stuff looks really nice. All Glass with a quality gel coat.

Tons of people run those fairings. the benefits fiberglass has over ABS is that is lighter, stronger, and easily repairable. ABS on the other hand is very cheap and not brittle like fiberglass composites. Most factory fairings new and old are ABS. If you're trying to set a land speed record then maybe the viper fairing is not what you're looking for. If you are riding at such a speed that the quality of the fairing is affecting you, you probably shouldn't even have a fork mounted fairing. i'm sure it would be fine for most people, you have to brace it properly. Airtech makes their fairngs very thin and light. They are also pretty damn flexible, so you have to brace them properly too. As far as the look; some people like it and some people don't. Im on the fence. $44 for a complete fairing with screen is a good deal though. if you like the look i would go for it.
