The lower stem bearing on KZs I just normally used my bearing splitter and press but on the GPZ the stem has the fork stops stops to where you would have to have something that is 2 1/2" or narrower to get around the lower bearing or a puller that has more than a 9" reach and I do not have one of these either. Looking for some help.

Thanks

Cut eh cage, and ditch the rollers. They cut the race all with a Cut Off wheel on a Die Grinder. You can cut at an angle, once nearly through be careful not to hit the stem. May need to use a chisel to wedge in the cut groove to break the last bit of race metal. It will slide right off.

I ended up cutting a v in the lower bearing race once the bearing cage was removed and chiseling the race off without hurting the stem. Thanks again for the help
