Help... What wheels are these?
20 Sep 2013 23:49
Hey guys,
Does anyone know what type of wheels these are? They look like stock Kawi wheels but I'm not certain. They mention they are cast alloy 18" front and rear. They are running Pirelli tires - rear 140/80 x 18 and front 120/80 x 18
Any help would be great!
Thanks,
kas

They might be from a KZ1000-P. Cop bikes used 18" front and rear. Ed

Thanks Ed.
Does anyone know if these could be swapped onto a 79 KZ1000 LTD? Are there any other 18" stock kawi mags which could?
Thanks,
Kas

Those are mismatched wheels. Front is 7 spoke. Rear is 5 spoke.
The only KZ that had 5-spoke, that I'm aware of is the KZ550H1 and H2 gpz's. But that rear does not quite look like the H1/H2 wheels. The ends of the spokes have curved gussets on the H1/H2. Those in the photos look to have straight gussets.
