Fuel Tank Strap

I'm just curious if anyone has a source for good fuel tank straps? I have been through two brand new ones ordered from Z1E in three years. I noticed the second new one is already very cracked and due for replacement again.

My bike lives inside my garage and I have not seen any undue wear on any of the other rubber parts. Are the OEM straps still available? Anyone have suggestions for a better way to retain the rear of my fuel tank?

My new one broke in one week....I could use a good one also.

92072-042 (BAND,FUEL TANK) is still active according to Kawasaki.com. MSRP is somewhere around $8.

As above buy one from Kawasaki, yes they are still available and around the same price as the repro crap being peddled.
My repro one went the same way after no time at all.
