According to Kawasaki.com each of the KZ250 models has a unique frame. Some of the differences may be minor, but I doubt there is an easy way to tell unless you can compare the frames side-by-side. Ed

I didn't see a 250C listed for 1982. There was a KZ250-L1 CSR Belt.
The 80-81 250Ds were chain drive. The 83 W1 Ltd was belt drive.
From looking at the Partzilla diagrams, it's possible the Frame diagram for the 82 CSR Belt is incorrect - they may have used the diagram from the D models... not sure. If yours is the 82 CSR, try comparing your frame to the 83 belt.
