part fitment between models

i have a simple question. all i want to know is if a tail cover and rear brake light from a kz750e model fit on a 1979 kz650b3. i really like the way it looks and i want to put it on my bike.

Direct fit, probably not as the 2 are quite a bit different where they attach... they are similar, but different. I don't think the 750E seat cover will mate to your frame or seat correctly.

If you don't get a definitive answer, compare the stuff at Partzilla. Look at the seat, side-cover, fender, & tail-light diagrams. Or look at ebbaayy photos of ducktails that fit the 2 models.
