any suggestions on brat style seat ideas
20 Jul 2013 15:27
Being that i am newbie to building up my first bike, 83 KZ550 C LTD, i need some useful cosmetic advice on choosing a seat. Of course i already searched the boober solo seats and all but i think i want to first start with the Brat style seats. I seen a fellow KZriders 750 KZ and the seat looked something i would want to try on my bike first as well as comfy! I wonder would a 750 twin or stock seat fit being that i have a different frame?? I wouldnt mind a Brat style or Bobber style seat. If anyone could post pics of their 550 or whatever KZ they own that i could make work on my bike, it would be much appreciated. Im just throwing this out there for the knowledge and suggestions. Thanks

Have a look at Do The Ton.
They have a seat section, and www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?board=43.0

I bought mine from dime city cycles. Pre made, with a kick up in the rear for around 230.00 . Its not very comfortable, Im gonna sell it and make my own with more padding.
