Kz 650 center stand spring

When we took the spring off for the rebuild I used the pennys between the coils trick to remove it and it worked great.

After sitting for a few months it screwed up the spring and now it's very weak, oops :blush:

We missed our chance at a nice one on ebay and now I'm not seeing any come up so can someone tell me
if there is another compatible spring available ?

Wow, that was weird, I went to buy the spring and ebay tried to sell me 2 springs , one for the 1000 and one for the 650 combined .

So I tried to cancel the 1000 spring and get the 650 one paying with pay pal and my sons account came up :S
He says he hasn't been trying to get a spring so it's kinda weird and I backed out.

Any way , to be clear this is for the 78 650, Ed are you saying that the 1000 spring will work ?
