Put a new tire on the rear of my bike. Problem is it has been down awhile and I can't remember how much clearance I had before. I'm guessing it was about 1/4" on each side. This new tire is bigger and now I only have 1/8" on each side. How much clearance do you have between your rear tire and the swingarm? I am running stock swingarm also. How much swingarm clearance would be enough? Has anyone heated their swingarm in the tight spot and dimpled or flattened the arm to get more clearance? Would a propane torch set-up get the metal hot enough to be able to Massage the area?
