1980 KZ750E Café project Fork help. was created by Cornisgreat
Hey,

I'm brand new on the motorcycle world and really thrilled. I'm actually french to so sorry for my poor english..

So I both this old dusty KZ750E and i'm presently restoring it to a cafe.
Changing all the esthetics and part of the seat frame.

I'm encountering a bit of a problem with my fork. It's pretty done and it's really hard to find a
new one on the web.

So I'm thinking of a swap. Yep. Is there any fork that would be an easy fit to the KZE?

Thx a freaking lot to anyone who will help.

Here the starting point and a photoshop of the expected result.

Ha Ha! That's funny. I have this Ferrari that I plan to convert to a dune buggy. Where can I get good shocks for running in the sand?

Is this some kind of troll?

You call an 84 KZ750R (L4) a 1980 KZ750E, and it's in perfect condition.
Then you ask about converting it into a cafe that was created from an LTD.

You can't be for real.

Your posting stated: "Here the starting point" and showed a picture of a bike. The logical conclusion is that the bike in the picture (the "starting point") was the bike you have in your possession and plan to modify. However, you now state your actual starting point (which you now describe as "ugly as hell") is not the bike in the picture. I doubt anyone here really cares one way or another what you do with your bike - it's YOUR bike so who cares what happens to it except you? The comments were a statement of disbelief that you were going to take a mint 84 KZ750R (L4) and cut it up to make a cafe or other modded bike. The fact is that those who did not believe you would do such a thing were absolutely correct - this is proven by the fact that your actual stating point is not the bike in your photo. Ed

PS - you're correct - we are very sad people.

I guess you are right.
But, I also said, I am new in the bike world and I am not english.
(So don't mind me not being an expert and not very clear)

I thought that I would find nice people who knows more than me about that and would be thrilled
To give me some advice or constructive comments.

Making fun of it and being rude by iver exposing your knowledge is not
Exactly what I was expecting by reading some other topic.

So have a good life. I'll find a nicer and more productive way to get my answer.

The real problem is that bike (KZ750R L4) is probably the rarest air cooled Kawasaki 750 four. I've never actually seen an L4, it's that rare. People here know this, and when you implied that you were going to convert one to a cafe, people freaked.

We freaked because we know Kawasaki's air cooled models, and isn't that the reason you came here?
