18" 7-spoke front?

The good news is that i just purchased a very stock 1980 KZ750E with just 12K miles.... pictures as soon as i bring it home.

the somewhat less good news is that i have a hard time believing i'll keep the 19" front.

so did kawasaki made any 18" front rims with the early 80's 7 spoke design? would like to keep the stock 7 spoke look, just be able to use 18" rubber rather than 19".

can always fit gpz 18" rims but they look a bit to modern for my taste.

 Doesn't the stock 1980 KZ750E 19" mag wheel have 7 spokes?

Perhaps the 18" front wheel from a 1978 KZ1000-D1 (Z1R cafe racer)?
But it's a 7 spoke design.

Good Fortune! :)

The Kz1000 Police also had a mag 18" front, but I need to look if it was 7 or 6 spoke and it is too wide to fit a Kz650 (and likely Kz750) setup.

oops, my bad, 7 indeed, got confused by the 5 spoke gpz wheels...

so yes, a 7 spoke 18" would be interesting...

18 inch Police Mag is to wide in the hub. The 1978 Z1R as mentioned is the way to go, it's 2.15 x 18.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationso you say that something like this will not fit?

if it's the discs offset, looks like it would be easy to turn down the mounting surface as essentially these rim maintain the same section all along the width.

width at the bearing area could be turned down too, but more of a hassle for sure

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI don't know if this wheel is any narrower then the later police bikes.
