Speedo front end swap

Ok I'm the one who asked about a front end swap 2 days ago and I appreciate the advice I got but the neighbor just gave me a 2000 Honda 600 f4 front end and the forks are bent but thats no big deal I'm straightening them back out. My question really is about how u would make a speedo work? I don't really know what to do about that. Any suggestions except for a GPS are welcomed thanks a lot.

Find a speedo drive that fits the axle you have, including the drive tang in the wheel, then modify the front wheel spacer and wheel to make it fit.

I can tell you that the ZX11C has a 20mm axle and a ZX11D has a 25mm axle, and they both have mechanical speedometers.

Or you could get a dash off a later model sport bike (I recommend 05- ZX10R, the dash weighs ounces) and use a electronic speedo pickup off a bike with electronic speedo.

Gonna take some fab work.

There's also aftermarket dashes, ~$100 and up.
