does anyone know why my kz650 sr has a rear drum mag wheel? as i can't specs anywhere about it!!

I think the SR should have a rear disk brake. Either someone swapped it out or it isn't an SR.

The KZ650-D (SR) models all started life with a rear disk brake. What is the VIN on the steering neck; maybe it is not a KZ650-D model? Ed

its definatly a kz 650 1980 model it has a 16 inch rear mag wheel with a rear drum brake, ill try and get some pics up as ive not heard of a another like it

Its a 1980 KZ650E1 sold as a 650LTD. Its a 650SR with a drum rear brake.
I think it was a one year model too!!!
And if I remember right its only got a single front disc setup too!!
Kawasaki's way of keeping the price down!!!
