Clubman handlebar for KZ750 B1 1976 was created by Winkler
Hey Guys,

I´m thinking about changing my old original handlebar to a Clubman handlebar cafe racerstyle.

Does anybody have experience with that and which dimensions for the clubman would fit best? Will I also have to shorten the throttle cable and shorten the front brake hose?

Regards Andreas

Will I have to shorten throttle cable and wires? What do you mean by brake fluid level? Will it be too low?

I have the original footpegs on, will they be needed to be upgraded to something else?

I had clubman bar's on my KZ650 when I first got it
and hated them. The pull back angle hurt my wrist's.
As for the brake fluid level I had to lean the bike and
then turn the bar's to level the master cylinder then fill it.

And what does that have to do with his question ?
If you don't know a thing about clubman's just shut up.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationRecently put a set of clubman bars on the my KH500.
There is no doubt they puts more strain on your wrists and back.

It previously had a set of drag bars..so didn't have to change any cables as such.

As I don't do big runs on the 2t...happy to sacrifice a little pain for looks of the clubman's. :P

These are the bars I purchased >>>>>>

clubmans on a 80 KZ750H1 (4 cyl LTD)

The LTD brake reservoir is a good fit with the clubman bars. Slngle disc reservoirs can be found on LTD versions of the 440 twin, 550-4 and later model 750 twin.

The stock cables and brake hose was used with some creative routing. The LTD cables are longer than the cables on a 750 twin so they should work.

Good luck,
Jim

Foot pegs, standard footpegs removed along with the lower foot peg post (nut on backside).
Replaced with rear pegs from a 750twin screwed in with spacers to keep from bottoming on the end of thread. Brake and shift levers shortened to suit.

Bad ass bike!!

I will definitely buy my own clubmans bar as well!

I want that look on my bike even though it might hurt a bite i the wrist/shoulder after some time.

No pain - No gain :-D

I will post a pic during the summer with the new look.

Hey Jim

What are the dimensions on yours?

Because as I can see from Ebay, there are 2-3 different models in width and pullback angle.
