Take a look to see if you can simply raise the fork tubes higher through the triple tree which in effect will lower the front of the bike (assuming that's what you're trying to accomplish). That way the springing etc. inside the forks won't be affected. Ed

So if the fork tubes come up through the top clamp more than about an inch they will hit the bottom of the handlebars - I see. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Is the seat height too tall and you are trying to lower the bike over all to get the seat lower? I ask, because if you are trying to lower the front forks more than 1 inch you might not have sufficient clearance under the engine/frame for safe use on the street unless you make the suspension rock hard - but that can lead to other problems. If the seat height is too tall could you use a combination of lowering the bike just a little (say 1 inch) and also removing some of the foam in the seat to lower it some? Ed

The forks on the bike you posted are raised just like 650ed said. It look like he has flat bars with offset risers if I can see it correctly.

You might be able to install a shorter spacer inside the forks - it sits above the fork springs. Some guys use 1" pvc pipe. If you do this, you'll have to ride the bike & decide whether or not the suspension is adversely affected.
PS: it helps to mention the model, as there are various 750s.

Be careful what you do, it looks like if you go any lower the dust seals will slam into your lower triple tree mount. it is often you will hear about somebody wrecking their bikes, but how often do you hear about somebody being safe and smart?
ps try to find a smaller wheel/tire to fit those forks.
