Hi everyone. I have a KZ750N1 shaft which I took off the front gear case to replace the shifter seal. After I put the front gear case back on, I went to reattach the shaft but found it nearly impossible to coordinate everything with the rubber protection gaiter over the joint. I can easily get everything back together if I leave the rubber gaiter off.
is there some trick I don't know about to make this work? I seriously can't figure out how to align the splines and push the locking pin in all while trying to hold back the rubber gaiter (which I can't get out of the way enough anyways...
Please help!
