Yep, you can fabricate a stop. I'm working on one now. Got the idea from a couple of guys over at KZ650.info. Once complete I'll share some pictures.

When I removed my stock system, I found the same problem you've got. When I installed a Kerker K2S. I sat down, did some thinking, and removed my centerstand, drilling and tapping for a 1/4"-28 bolt with a lock nut, so I can adjust the amount of movement. The up stop touches against the swing arm. I've had this for many years, with no problems.

...Now there's an odd combo for ya. A 4 into 1 pipe and a center stand.

...Usually, when one goes on, the other comes off.

...I'd be curious to know how many have both, or just the one. :)

A bit embarassing explaining what this is, but here is a picture of what I used for my used Kerker. Something similair may work on your bike. I just mounted it on the left side muffler mount point. Its a anchor attachment that came with my flat screen TV wall mount, LOL. They give you different styles for differnt types of mounts that vary from brand to brand. This one of the pairs that was not for my TV. I make it a point to save everything. Kept thinking what I can use, and had an hour left before a going for a group ride that day. Was supposed to be temporary, but looks good and works perfect. Didn't have to paint or anything. Just had to enlarge the hole for the mounting bolt. Maybe you can fabricate something from similiar.

It is very difficult to check your oil level with no center stand. I suggest keeping the pivot bar in there and the stand in an easily accessible spot in case of a disaster.

Swingarm stand, or paddock stand? I have a T-Rex with replaceable ends so you can use spools or cradle right under the swingarm.

I just keep my center stand in the garage and use it when I need to. I check the oil the old fashioned way, stand the bike up with my left hand while looking at the oil window. Been doin it this way for over 30 years now.

I had same issue. Did the search and found this post.Installed a Mac 4-1. Bike is not yet running. Tonight I was looking at it and discovered the chain contacting the centerstand. It took me a minute to figure it out. I used one of the brackets that came with the exhaust and made a stop, very much like the one posted above. It will work until I can come up with something better. It did give me something to hide the exhaust hanger hole with though.
