you should check out webike from Japan. They have aftermarket rotors made by sun star and I think pieces that attach to stock fork tubes that you can mount modern calipers to them. I am thinking of going this route, thinking.

According to Kawasaki.com there other models that use the same calipers, but the models differ depending on whether it's the rear, or left or right front. Which do you need? Ed

Lots of good info on kawasaki.com, including parts diagrams, part names, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc. Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.

From the look of the prices on this site, japan.webike.net/KAWASAKI/Z900/457/mtop/ , I need to get back on the radial caliper upgrade kits.

Les, you have no idea. Lol we are like Mexico or worse in comparison to Japan. When people will buy our bikes and take them abroad you have to wonder at that. At any rate you should absolutely start making aftermarket parts. You could market them to Europe for what they are charging and be able to sell them as their money is worth more than ours. Shipping wouldn't be an issue.

Sax, I'll check tomorrow on the Z1 fitting the KZ forks, I think they do but I'm not a guru on this stuff. I bought another Z1 yesterday so it's here and not at the other house.

Not that Z1R? Which leads me to the next question, I'm looking at doing an 18" wheel in front and wonder if the gauges inside are different or the drive gear is.
