Will an ST seat fit a Mk II ? was created by greenman43

Hi all,

I've come across a seat for a Z1000ST, and am wondering if it will fit my A4 Mk II. Different part number from Mr K, but in the diagram it looks the same ... Any help appreciated !

No, The ST is completely different in the way it latches and is bigger all the way around, wider ect.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

no they are different and it would take some work if at all

Are the tail pieces different as well?

I believe the tail pieces bolt holes are diffrent. I have both bikes and was going to use the MarkII pieces on the ST but the holes would not line up. Roy

Every part of the ST is different than the MKII. The tail section has indentations for the seat, where the MKII doesn't. Everything on the ST looks same as the MKII, but looks are all that is the same. The MKII used all different pieces.
