So I did some searching and really didnt find any posts that had actual results. I would like details or pictures of a shaftdrive to chain swingarm conversion, any year but more specifically 79-80 shaft. And I just want a normal Kawasaki KZ1000 swingarm. Ive read the frame is wider which is good but are there pieces that need to be made to fill the space? What about the pivot bolt?

If not already done, could do a keyword search in all categories on any date.

The keyword could be convert shaft to chain or some variation.

Returns numerous pages of links to earlier threads.

Good Fortune! :)

Thanks guys but im not planning on cutting the frame apart and installing a mono shock. I guess if I go about this I will document it here for all to see. I would really like to build a MKII look alike with a shaft. Ive done 80 ltds to look like 73's now I want to try something different.
