18" vs 17" Front Wheels - Pros, Cons, and Opinions

So I am considering the possibility of changing my ZRX wheels to a set of Zephyr 1100 wheels that I had procured. I am simply wanting somethign different and at this point in time, not wanting to spend $2K for custom wheels. The Zep 1100's used an 18" front wheel with a 17" back wheel. So I am looking at trying to determine what the pros vs cons on going to an 18" front wheel? Opinons on this?

I know currently the "Cons" include:
- Less Sport Bike Tire Selection
- Modification to get it to fit

Pro's Might Be:
- More Vintage look
- Uniqueness of the 18" front

Opinions....

I just can't decide if it will look right...

Anyone swapped between 17 and 18 inch fronts before?
