Hey I have a 1980 KZ 650. I was wondering if the sportier tail sections and seats will fit on the cruiser KZ 650 without modifications ? ? I see a ton of 70's tail sections on ebay.

here is a link to my bike : s695.beta.photobucket.com/user/skyofaval...jpg.html?sort=3&o=17

thanks for the help.If they wont fit I'm going to sell the bike.

Welcome.
The seat and tail from a kz650 B, C or F models can fit, but will need modifications.
I believe the hinges are spaced differently, and there are no mounts on your D model frame for the tail.
But it can be done.
There are a few pictures in the Gallery here with D (SR) models using a tail and other seat.
Check out the kz650 site too, link in my signature.
