trianglelaguna, and whomever else...

Marketable?

Once the bike is placed on the center stand, the prop slips under the frame cross-member while the front of the bike is easily lifted with the other hand. Since the bike is somewhat balanced on the (locked) center stand, it is easy to lift by the front wheel. And the forward weight is just heavy enough to balance the bike on the prop, resulting in a secure enough structure to remove the front wheel, forks, triple-tree, etc. for service, as well as ease of washing the front wheel by spinning it.
Whew... :)

The factory-stock center stand is mandatory for this thing to work. Without it...forget it.

I was using stands too for a while but a couple years ago I took a 6x6x10'and spanned it across my trusses in my attic above my garage, had a winch kicking around, quite easy to do, a couple hours and no more headaches or bike falling over..well worth it,chain falls are nice too.

I put the exact amount of weight in the tail so the bike becomes balanced on the stand.
