Replacement brake lines

I want to replace the brake lines on my 1978 KZ650D1. Any advice about what to replace them with? OEM/NOS parts are difficult to find and any used items would be suspect in my opinion.

Thanks!

The best place I've found to buy braided lines is Apex Brakes .

Take your measurements, call the guy up and he'll send you a great set of lines for cheap. For my KZ900 he did the front lines for about $50 including shipping. This is two lines, from the master to the junction and from the junction to the metal pipe that connects to the brake. The lines are covered with black plastic so they almost look stock.

Just make sure and get your fittings and measurements right or you'll have to order more lines.
