New guy, Need some mono shock advice.

I just picked up a 81 LTD 750 for $400.00 bikes in excellent condition. I have been looking around here and see a lot of builds and information but it's all spaced out. What I'd like to do is build a mono shock rear swing arm with bobber style seat and no rear fender. I am also planning to use the rear tire and brakes that go along with the swing arm. I am looking for the best set up with a swing arm that going to work with out having to run in to a lot of problems. Any information would help a lot and once its not -30 here I'll start my build.

Suzuki gsxr swingarms seem to fit the closest swingarm pivot wise anyway and theres plenty of tghem out there

+1 on what wireman said I think OMR has a DIY mono pictoral somewhere thats what I used to start with

Any year? Will a 05 GSXR 750 work?
