I've used All Balls tapered roller steering head bearings in several bikes. It's a pretty straightforward operation to change them out, the hardest part is usually getting the old bearing races out of the steering head and off of the stem. If you can't drive them out/off, use a cutoff wheel on a Dremel.

you have the old races.....should be a thinner one....that would be the smaller bearing......where did it go bottom or top?

I installed them. I used a short section of PVC to drive them home. Ed
