Banjo Bolt tension

G'day, I am fitting braided lines to my 1977KZ 1000 A1 and I have searched the Kawasaki workshop manual twice and I cannot find anywhere in it at which the banjo bolts should be tensioned at. Any info would be appreciated as I don't want to tighten them just guessing due to the hole drilled thru the guts of them, regards Neil

Take another look; it should be in the manual. Here's what my KZ650 Kawasaki Service Manual shows:

KZ1000 FSM, page 100, Table G1, Fitting (banjo) bolts, 21~22 ft-lbs

The banjo torque values are harder to locate because the torque info pages first cover engine parts before covering chassis parts which are listed separately on page 39, where "Disc brake parts" refers to Table G1 on Pg. 100.

Good Fortune! :)
