KZ650 brake calipers...interchangeable?

I am trying to install an entire front brake system on my '77 KZ650. Will other model's calipers fit the fork & rotor?

kawasaki.com includes parts diagrams, part names, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc. Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.
Click > kzrider.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&...w&catid=13&id=376734

The above would help determine which models share the exact same caliper.
I don't know whether there might be a caliper having a different part number from some other model that would be a bolt-on fit to the bike at hand.

Good Fortune! :)

KZ650/750 (fours and twins)/900/1000/1100, and GPz750/1100, calipers, I know will fit, other KZ and air cooled GPz will "probably" fit, but I haven't personally tried them (400/440/550).

Just to further confuse things; different KZ650 models have different "Effective Disk Diameter" specs. This doesn't necessarily mean the disks are different diameters (I don't know 1st hand if they are or aren't), but it does imply that the distance between the axle and the outermost edge of the disk brake pads varies between models. Along with different effective diameters the thickness is a little different between the models.

Here's what my manuals show:

Be advised: The diameters listed below refer to "Effective Disk Diameter" rather than outside diameter of the disk.

The different disk diameter means the caliper mount on the lower fork legs is either lower or higher, but the calipers are the same.

83 GPz750 and GPz1100 are good examples, they both use the same calipers, but the disks are a larger diameter on the 1100 so the calipers mount higher on the fork legs. When swapping calipers the main point to consider is the center to center distance of the caliper mounting holes, if they're not the same then you have to make a bracket.

I can't remember what the distance is on the KZs, CRS again
