Police Swing Arm on 77 kz1000?

I just traded for a 77 kz1000. The bike is a little rough but starts and runs pretty well. PO stretched the rear swing arm 4" but has the wheel off center 3/8- 1/2 inch. The wheel is centered in the swing arm, but some how during the stretch the swing arm got off. I am currently looking for a stock swing arm to put back on the bike. Looking on eBay I found a stock swing arm off a early 90s police model. The swing arm looks to be a bit longer than he stock 77. Do swing arms from later models work on the early bikes?

Im not sure about newer cop bike arms but im guessing a 1000-1100 arm up through 82 would still be the same though B)

I would be interested in your swing arm. I was thinking about putting back stock for the time being until I figured out what I wanted to do with the bike. I love the way the bike looks stretched out but am curious how it handles stock.

I need a front and rear sprocket for my 75 900.
Would that swingarm fit my bike also?

I believe the swingarm will work on 900s and 1000s. Just have to make sure you got disk brake rear.
