Frame number - Model ?

Hu Guys, lets see if you can help.

I am about to re-paint my Z1300. According to the frame number (KZT30A004285)it is an A1, built in 1979.
That would require it to be painted in starlight luminous blue, rather than in luminous ruby red which belongs to the A2 built in 1980.

Am I right ?

The year of mfg isn't necessarily the model year. Kawasaki.com or PowerSportsPlus might be of use. Or CycleChaos.
