seat fitment question?????

will a corbin seat that is suppose to be for a 79kz1000.. should it fit a 76 kz900 or not??? seat# is 72212
i cannot find any info to verify or not.. i know in 79 they started changing tanks,sidecovers and tail pieces...
appreciate some expert input!!!

According to their website (Corbin Seats) the same seat is used for 73-80 Z & KZ's.
