Tightening chain

My chain seems to have become loose. Wants to jump teeth on the sprocket when taking off in first. I'm at work... anything I can do for a quick tightening job for the ride home...

I have a 79 kz 1000 if that helps.

Nothing 'quick fix'. Get out your tool kit...all you need is one wrench...loosen the lock nuts, screw in the endbolts to lengthen your wheel base (= tighter chain) keeping in mind both sides must be equal in length and re-tighten the lock nuts. Voila!:)

don't you need to also loosen the large axel nut and the rear brake stay? I think I remember doing that when i had my 550.
