Okay so I'm trying to find a set of rear sets for my bike. I thought that a 81 gpz550 had the same frame as a 80 kz550 so would those work?

Lots of good info on kawasaki.com, including parts diagrams, part names, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc. Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.

The footpeg area is slightly different. The 81 gpz550 uses aluminum castings to hold the passenger pegs, and also the brake pivot. I don't know if that will work.

My build thread has some photos of the 81 gpz frame.

If you need more photos of the footpeg area let me know.

Here's some pretty good info. I bought mine from him and had a very good experience.
